Lots of people have been talking about the emotional roller coaster that they’ve been on for the past month. We’ve all seen the beauty of humanity and felt the love, connection and comradery that has come about in these tough times. And, many people have shared feelings of shock, fear, overwhelm and anxiety. We’ve all seen the motto – We are all in this together -- and, I have to say, those words have never been truer than now. For this reason, I have created a Closed Facebook Group – CBT & Mindfulness Meditation for Anxiety & Stress – to bring people together, so we can learn, support & grow stronger together. In this closed Facebook group I will offer:
30-minute meditation sessions on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 12:20 – 12:50
1.5-hour Cognitive- Behavioural Therapy (CBT) & Mindfulness lesson on how to manage stress & anxiety
Work with your thoughts
Relax the body

This is for membership to a private group on Facebook. Upon confirmation of sign up, you will be sent a link to direct you to the group. After clicking "join" within Facebook, you will have to wait for approval from Tammy.
If you are considering joining this group, you must follow the group guidelines and rules:
This is an educational / support group to help you decrease stress and manage anxiety symptoms using Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness Meditation practices. You will learn relaxation strategies and techniques to help you feel more calm, peace and stillness.
We will meet twice a week - Tuesdays & Thursdays @ 12:20 - 12:45 - for a Facebook Live to practice Mindfulness Meditation.
And, we will meet once a week - Saturdays at 10:30am - 12 noon - for a Facebook Live to learn a CBT strategy to help you manage stress and anxiety. This will include 1 hour of learning the skills and 30 minutes of question and answer.
These days and times may change to accommodate different schedules, but for now, we are all set. Any changes will be announced on the page and in this description, so be sure to check-in often.
My intention for this group is to offer a safe and comfortable space for you to share and receive support. I intend to offer quality service to help you release tension and stress, so you can uncover who you really are, to feel free to be your true s3lf. Any fear mongering, disrespectful language, or comments that disrupt the mojo of this group will be removed and you may be blocked from the group.
Confidentiality is of utmost importance to building trust. You can talk to others about the content of this group, but do not share anyone else's personal name or story outside of this group.
This group is not a substitute for counselling. However, what you learn in here could be a great support to your own personal counselling that you might be receiving elsewhere.
